Who are we
Power Electronics Software at Volvo Cars are leaders within SW development for Electric Vehicles. We are responsible for delivering system solution and SW functionality for the inverters, electric machines and power conversion in our electrified vehicles. Our vision is to deliver the best and most innovated functions to the market and continuously evolve our Software platform.
What's in it for you
You will have the opportunity to contribute to the inverter power electronics hardware design teams. Your main tasks will be around writing Python or Matlab scripts to improve data processing and automization of power electronics HW testing, component characterization as well as measurement data post processing.
Who are you
We believe you are studying Electrical Engineering or Computer science on Master level. Preferably you have already completed your first 2 or 3 years of your university studies.
In this role, you need to be proficient in either Python or Matlab.
Personality is Key
All Volvo Cars design work is carried out in Agile design teams. Being a team player with utilizing efficient collaboration with team members and other stakeholders is therefore a key enabler to succeed in the role.
You enjoy sharing your knowledge with others and embrace challenges with an analytical and flexible mindset.
