In our Swedish offices, in Linköping and Göteborg, we are working on the next versions of our browsers on Android. To do this, we are digging deep into the inner workings of Blink and Chromium. We are creating beautiful user interfaces while constantly striving to innovate and improve the browsing experience even further. Opera Mini and Opera for Android, with their 250 million-plus users, were born and created in Sweden.
For the summer of 2022, we are looking for developers and UX-designers to join us in Linköping for 2-3 months.
For developers, tasks may vary from extending testing frameworks, building and extending development tools to contributing directly to new features in the product. This type of work requires good programming skills and the ability to take initiative and work independently. Another set of tasks evolves around databases and SQL to extract data from APIs and organizing and visualizing product metrics.
For UX-designers, you will collaborate with the development team from early ideation to a launched product. You will drive progress, uphold standards and advocate for exceptional user experiences. Apply separately at
