What's in it for you?
Parts Supply & Logistics is responsible for accessories and spare parts availability for Volvo Cars markets globally. The responsibility includes the entire material flow from supplier to customer. The business is built around central warehouses in Gothenburg, US, China, as well as additional supporting warehouses around the world.
We are now looking for summer interns to join our team.
What you will do
You will play a key part in one of our agile teams: purchasing planning, inventory management, and campaign coordination. Please specify in your application which area/areas you are interested in.
Competence and experience are important, but personality and potential are key
We are looking for students studying B.Sc. or M.Sc. in logistics, engineering, business or equivalent. You should be a service-minded individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Swedish. This role requires analysis of data therefore interest and experience in this area will be key to succeed in this role. It is also important to have good interpersonal skills and social competence, to be able to build relations with stakeholders and suppliers. We see that you have a genuine interest in the supply chain.
Location: Gothenburg, Sweden
Duration
The period for the summer internship is between 1 June - 31 August 2022, max 10 weeks. Start and end time to be discussed with the recruiting manager.
