Summer employment for Students, Purchasing
We are looking for one student to join our Indirect Purchasing department at Volvo Car Corporation this summer.
Volvo Cars Purchasing is ultimately responsible for the selection of all Volvo Cars' suppliers
and has the responsibility for the procurement of all production and non-production material and services to Volvo Cars. The supply of materials and services- to the right quality, in the right quantity and on time- is essential to the smooth running of the company and to match our customer's expectations.
You work during the summer will give you valuable insight and experience from Volvo Cars Purchasing.
Job profile:
You will assist and support in procurement processes mainly in the Site and Construction area.
For instance you will be working with:
• Assisting in work of putting together offers and quotations
• Updating in purchasing systems
• Supporting responsible buyer
Your profile:
• Ongoing University studies with Buissness and/or Technical focus
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently as well as enjoying teamwork
• Well structured and communicative
• Experience of Volvo Cars is meritorious
• Knowledge of Chinese is meritorious
• Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish, oral and written
