Summer employment for students - Research & Development
At Research & Development you will be a key contributor to the next generation outstanding luxury cars from Volvo. Together with other engineers around the world, you and your team will create innovative human-centric car technology that makes life less complicated and more enjoyable for people. Job profile:
R&D is looking for students to work with various tasks within product development during the summer. We offer positions with both technical and administrative focus. You will be offered an opportunity to get insight in the product development process and you will be working with different assignments connected to developing a car. We offer different positions within R&D and your placement will be based on your education, competence, experience and interest.
For instance you could be working with:
• Design and Test Engineering
• Modelling and programming for example in Catia V5
• Summarising information associated to various projects
• Structuring and compiling different types of documentation
Your profile:
• Ongoing education with focus on Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics and Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Cooperation skills and service minded
• Positive and committed attitude
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Fluent in English
• Minimum 18 years old
• Driving license
• Knowledge of Catia V5 or computational engineering programmes is desirable
