We are looking for a part-time substitute in Mathematics and Science for grade 6-9 (MYP1-4). As a substitute at Vasa International School of Stockholm you should be able to perform the following duties:
Create inspiring and well-scaffolded units of inquiry in Science and Math for our 12-15 year old students.
Create an inspiring and well-structured learning environment in which the teacher is the clear leader of the classroom and where the students can thrive.
Create learning experiences that are relevant for students and which are based on clearly established success criteria.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and create inspiring interdisciplinary learning activities for students.
Showcase the students' work throughout the building and on school platforms.
Be able to teach in Swedish.
Enjoy being outside with students and using nature as a teaching tool.
The first working day is September 1st 2020 and the contract is at least until December 31st 2020.
