As a substitute teacher, you will fill in for a regular teacher during their temporary absence. The demand will vary throughout the school year so your working hours will be flexible.
Main duties include:
• Substitute for a teacher in class and provide support to the students. We expect you to be able to substitute all subjects at our school, such as English, Mathematics, PE etc.
• Follow the lesson plans provided and adapt to unexpected situations accordingly.
• Maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroom
• Maintain good order and discipline among students, in accordance with the school's behaviour policies
Who are we looking for:
• You have an academic degree or are in the process of acquiring one. A teaching degree is preferred but not required.
• You have excellent skills in English and have no problem with working in an English-speaking environment. Having Swedish skills will be considered a merit.
• You are creative and good at multitasking.
• You have the right to work in Sweden, have Swedish personal identification number and a bank account.
• You will have to present a police check as per legal requirement when working with children.
