The successful candidate:
• has English as a mother tongue and can speak and understand Swedish as well
• has at least one year experience in pedagogy, childcare or language teaching
• excellent written and verbal communicator with interpersonal skills
• has strong teamwork skills
• structured, loyal person who likes responsibility
• has a positive attitude
• is creative and open to new ideas and points of view
• is calm, stable and controlled in stress situations
• has a solution-focused approach
• has an ability to create an exciting and rewarding learning environment that stimulates children's curiosity and development based on their needs and prerequisites
• likes to be outdoors in all weather
• shares the preschool's vision for encouraging all children to develop towards their maximum potential
Main duties:
• work with all everyday situations such as meals, children's daily hygiene/diaper change, on / off, rest, material care, some cleaning and laundry
• actively participate in all preschool activities
• actively promote children's social skills, language, mathematical thinking and environmental awareness, stimulated and strengthened in daily activities
• document children's development and learning
• actively contribute to the content of the team meetings, reflection times etc
- follow the preschool's curriculum and other local plans
• have daily professional contact with the children's parents
• participate in planned parenting activities
Other tasks than those mentioned above may occur depending on the needs and development of the preschool activity.
