We continue with our expand to work with underwater structures within the Oil & Gas business, and is therefore looking out to strengthen our group in Gothenburg.Semcon has for many years worked in the Offshore and Oil / Gas business, and we now need even skilled engineers to meet market demands.The department generally work with many customers in the process and energy industries where our expertise is mainly Mechanical /Piping engineers, E&I engineers, architects and process engineers.
We are looking for you with several years of experience in subsea engineering. You have a BSc och MSc within machinery, shipbuilding or marine engineering. The group design advanced and challenging equipment, which will operate on the bottom of the ocean for decades. It is important that you have a passion for the business and want to be involved in the development of the group. The work task might differ depending on the candidate, but there are possibilities to manage a team of engineers and be a key contact with the customer.
We offer an international and stimulating workplace. You will be in contact with global customers and collaborating with Semcon offices in several parts of the world i.e. India, Hungary, the UK. The work can involve traveling, but is not mandatory.
What we are looking for in an applicant?
• Experience in Subsea engineerin
• Knowledge of standards for this industry (primarily ASME and Norsok)
• Proficient in tools Inventor, Pro-E (WF3 / 5)
• Team spirit and business acumen
