Our team - The Cable Harness Component group - is responsible for harness components within Scania trucks and buses. That includes all parts needed to build a harness such as cables, connectors, terminals etc. We are a group of men and women working closely together, with great commitment to our assignment. In this position, you will be able to grow and develop yourself and your skills. We offer you the opportunity to get a wide field of interesting tasks where you will build knowledge and networks within the automotive industry.
Your assignment
You will work as a subproject leader for future products and cost reduction projects. As a subproject leader within Scania you are responsible for a part of a larger project, leading your group of appointed team members towards a common goal of delivery. This is a good opportunity to develop yourself in both leadership and technology.
In your role, you are the link between the main project, the development engineers at R&D, and other cross-functions. The team consists mostly of team members from your workgroup, but depending on the project, other R&D groups may also be included. Colleagues from the cross-functions purchasing, production and aftermarket are always a part of your team. The focus is on planning, control, and communication:
• Lead and motivate your object to achieve the project's goals and sub-goals
• Create a subproject definition to describe the subproject's content, goals, and deliverables
• Tact the work of the team to keep promised deliveries
• Escalate deviations and, in case of deviations, hold presentations to project and management teams if necessary

Your profile
You truly enjoy a work environment where you can use your commitment, structure and goal orientation. You are outgoing and have a good ability to develop and maintain cross-functional contact networks, and are comfortable presenting and reporting in front of larger groups.
We believe you have a bachelor's or master's degree with an interest in leadership and knowledge within product development. Experience as an assignment leader, subproject leader or project leader is meritorious. You manage both Swedish and English well.
