Full life-cycle responsibility for VM portfolio solutions:
• To manage all Run-time deliveries, prioritization budgeting, costs, and reporting with a strong focus on continuous improvement within the portfolio
• Manage the assignments in accordance to the Solution Delivery Plan(s)
• To manage all One-time deliveries including managing projects within the portfolio, understand & estimate efforts for New Development from business requirements, and representing Group IT in the steering according to Project Handbook.
Actively contribute in Long Term Planning and Solution Roadmap Development
• Participate in strategic dialogue with corresponding TD/BA
• Create and maintain solution roadmap consistently with Business SubPortfolio Manager roadmap
As the leader and manager of your delivery team, you will:
• Plan for long-term capacity and competence management within assigned sub-portfolio
• Set and follow-up on PBP targets and development plans for line reports
• Responsible for building an excellent cooperation across the domains/regions within and across Group IT
• Secure needed agreements within assigned sub-portfolio
Drive complaints on deliveries towards a resolution and resolve major incidents within assigned portfolio
Secure that all individual solutions within the assigned sub-portfolio continuously adhere to Volvo Group Policies, Directives & Guidelines
Secure alignment to Group IT business processes and implement recommended tools
As SPDM-VM, you will have the following authority :
• Staffing of the delivery team
• Accountable for the runtime cost level
• Accountable for enhancement and runtime estimations
• Accountable for overall quality and performances of the deliveries
Required competencies
Relevant university degree
Minimum 3 years of leadership experience
Experience from leadership in a global context
Experience in developing and coaching people
Strong experience from working in an IT delivery organization including solid knowledge about methods used
Experience from lean and agile leadership
Understanding of enterprise architecture and related rules/frames
Excellent communication & presentation skills
Complete proficiency in English
Required leadership skills
Since you will be leading a team of senior people including team leaders and consultants, you must demonstrate strong leadership skills. Having experiences from Leading People level is a merit. Other important skills include:
