HR Center of Expertise (HR CoE) Sweden is right now looking for an experienced Subject Matter Expert in the area of Compensation and Benefits.

The aim of HR CoE is to be the leading HR experts in Sweden. By knowing our business, being in the forefront of HR and through a close dialogue, we strengthen and empower Volvo Group to excel as an admired, attractive and safe employer. HR CoE works cross all Volvo Group organizations and brands for Sweden, such as Volvo Trucks, Volvo Penta, Volvo Construction Equipment etc., covering more than 20.000 employees in Sweden. HR CoE consists of HR experts in four different areas; Labor Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Health & Safety and Talent & Leadership. HR CoE Sweden is part of the Volvo Group Human Resources function.

Position Description

We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert in Compensation and Benefits. In this position you will work with executing on the long term plans and strategic priorities for compensation and benefits in Volvo Group Sweden. You also work with our global compensation and benefits function to identify and address country specific needs and challenges. You will develop reward and recognition models, policies, tools and guidelines, as well as managing and reviewing benefits and salary structures.

You will work in a compensation and benefits team in close relation to other functions within HR CoE. You will be working with many topics and projects linked to our employer value proposition, such as salary review, compensation training, pension, benefits, mobility, tax etc. You will write reports and do presentations in various forums and participate in different networks. As an expert you will coach and advice HR Business Partner's in the area of compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Drive and be responsible for different compensation and benefits projects, in order to further develop the compensation and benefits culture, awareness, processes, way of working, etc.
Together with stakeholders, execute on the strategic priorities and yearly plans for the Swedish compensation and benefits agenda for Volvo Group
Initiate, roll out and support annual activities such as salary review and equal pay analysis
Together with your HR CoE colleagues drive compensation and benefits union negotiations on Sweden level
Develop and manage compensation and benefits programs and tools required by the business
Monitor trends and development within the area of compensation and benefits
Provide advice and support the organizations in compensation and benefits expertise and compliance assurance, such as interpret national laws and collective agreement
Understand the business needs and translate that into compensation and benefits initiatives on national level

Preferred Experience and Knowledge
A Master's degree in Human Resources or equivalent
Documented senior experience from compensation and benefits
Results oriented with business and customer focus, always with the end-user in mind
Strong business acumen and ability to translate business needs into compensation and benefits priorities and actions on country level
Professional understanding of country laws, regulations and collective agreements, and deep understanding of the labor market
Ability to create networks and to lead cross-functional activities
Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
Strong project management skills, leadership and influencing skills
Analytical mindset and holistic view
Excellent Excel skills
Fluency in Swedish and English

Reporting and Authority
You will be a member of the Swedish compensation and benefits functional working group, a network for compensation and benefits responsible from all Volvo Group organizations and brands
You will report to Vice President Human Resources, Center of Expertise Sweden
