If you answered yes to these questions, then we have a great opportunity for you!THIS IS US, YOUR NEW COLLEAGUESAbout the positionWe are now looking for a Subject Matter Expert - Building Installations, with the main focus of Electrical Installations-/ and IT-infrastructure solutions. You will work in and contribute to an area of which is growing and continue to increase its importanceROLE DESCRIPTIONYour main focus will be to:Your main focus areas will include support on property investment projects within this area of expertise, review technical documentation in projects and secure (continuous) development of our Building Standard as well as drive internal collaboration and transfer of knowledge on a global level. The work is to be conducted in very close cooperation with the Real Estate divisions, Group Corporate functions, colleagues within Truck Divisions and Business Areas, Group purchasing and different suppliers. What are your key responsibilities?Drive the development and manage the Electrical, Tele and IT part in the Volvo Building StandardsDrive transfer of knowledge, updates, training, best practice sharing and feedback on a global level through established forums. Secure alignment overall within Volvo Group Real Estate within the Building Installations and Electrical Installations-/ IT Infrastructure areaParticipate in relevant corporate forumsDevelop, improve and follow up of the VGRE processes, service solutions, guidelines, instruction and tools (methods and systems)Collaborate with and support the divisions and Purchasing on Long Term Maintenance and investment/construction projectsReview technical documentation in projects and secure set targets for a solutionSupport on legislation & regulations issues within the Building Installations and Electrical Installations-/ IT Infrastructure areaCommunicate updates on standards, concepts, processes and tools within VGREContact person towards Group IT Business Infrastructure ManagersParticipating in IT infrastructure development projects and other strategic discussions/projectsParticipate in relevant external networks for news, trends, bench marking & best practicesWHO ARE YOU?You are a team player with the ability to demonstrate a clear vision and having a global mindset. You have a broad experience within the Real Estate industry, and a high competence in Electrical and IT infrastructure with a university degree in Civil Engineering or similar. You have knowledge of supplier market mechanisms, environmental aspects and relevant steering documents within this area of expertise. Since we work in a global environment it is important to have a highly fluent knowledge of English language both written and oral. You are used to leading people within global forums and enjoy building business relationships. You are well structured and have an analytical approach and a strategic perspective in your daily work.
