Will you lead our journey to create a totally new user experience in Volvo Aftermarket?
We are now looking for a Sub-Portfolio IT Architect to join our team in Gothenburg to take the lead for the solutions for Aftermarket Information Production.

Group IT - DVP Solutions
DVP Solutions ("Develop Product & Aftermarket Product Portfolio") is a global unit within Group IT. The mission of the unit is to ensure that the Volvo Group 's IT solutions and IT projects within the area of DVP are managed in an optimal way.

Solution Center Product & Aftermarket Documentation
The Solution Center Product & Aftermarket Documentation is the function, within DVP Solutions, that has the responsibility to managing the deliveries for all solutions in the product- & aftermarket documentation systems portfolio, such as KOLA, Rapid, Phoenix, SID, GRIPS, LISA, Protom, Gloria, Protus etc.. The Solution Center has full responsibility for runtime (cost, quality of service) and on the delivery of projects. The Solution Center is supporting roadmap design and long term plan in its area. It is then responsible to drive deliveries according to the various sub-portfolio roadmaps and plans.

We are now looking for a Sub-Portfolio IT Architect to join our team in Gothenburg.

In this role you will report to the Manager for Aftermarket Information Production.

As a Sub-Portfolio IT Architect you will lead and coordinate activities from an architectural point of view for the sub-portfolio Aftermarket Information Production. The purpose of this role is to contribute in projects as well as in maintenance and to lead the Sub Portfolio ITA team (SPITA team).
The sub-portfolio architect will also cooperate tightly with the Solution Center Architect and the Business Information Architect.
You will also work together with related Business Solution Portfolio Managers (BSPM) to develop roadmaps and capability/heat maps.

Key responsibilities
• Responsible for securing overall architecture and to take architecture decisions for AIP sub-portfolio
• Authority to take decisions in accordance with EA framework
• Represent sub-portfolio AIP in applicable IT architecture related workgroups
• Resolve architectural issues escalated from projects and solutions
• Drive implementation of solution roadmaps in line with the target architecture
• Be the main interface between the SPITA team, SC PAMDOC, DVP Solutions Head IT Architect and the application developers involved in projects and maintenance deliveries
• Act as or support Lead Architects in projects for AIP area
• Provide technical expertise for other stakeholders during staffing process

Wanted profile
• A true team player with strong positive drive to create great solutions
• Previous Volvo Group experience and knowledge about Aftermarket Information is preferred
• Ability to drive the IT architecture skill in AIP solution delivery
• Ability to perform EA Certifications and EA Reviews within the sub-portfolio
• Good business understanding of relevant business processes
• Ability to translate and balance functional and non-functional business requirements into sustainable and cost efficient solution design
• Ability to design and maintain architecture views, models and target architectures
• Ability to set priorities and eliminate roadblocks
• Good communication, collaboration and networking skills
• Relevant university degree
• Fluent in English is a requirement
