At Controls & Calibration within the section Traction Battery, we are dedicated to electrify our brand in a broad effort with Plug-In Hybrids and Battery Electric Vehicles. At the engineering department of Propulsion Energy Systems, we are responsible for design and delivery of the technical solution of Traction Battery systems for electrified vehicles. We cover the complete product development of mechanical, electrical and software.
As Sub-Function Responsible you are responsible for the thermal functionality area within the Traction Battery system. This means that you are responsible for defining your function through requirements and use cases, which requires you to be organised and communicative in order to get all stakeholders aligned. Throughout the projects, you will follow up and understand the implementation. You will follow up and participate in testing and calibration, ensuring that your function performs optimally at start of production.
Main responsibilities
* Define and document SW-functionality in regards to thermal battery management
* Review SW implementation
* Review test descriptions and test results
* Participate in tests relating to assigned functionality
* Calibrate implemented SW
* Collaborate with stakeholders at other departments
* Coordinate external work e.g. with suppliers
Required qualifications
* Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar
* Knowledge in battery systems & automotive standards
* Battery Thermal Characterization and Analysis; thermal properties (cooling/heating functions)
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Driving license

* Good communication skills
* A positive mindset
* Strong analytical abilities, since job requires ingenuity and creativity
* Result oriented with a structured way of working
* Able to act independently as well as to cooperate within a team
* Open minded and pragmatic
