Job Description
As HR Site Service Leader, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR advice and support to our sites in Sweden and Finland. You will work closely together with the HR team in Terneuzen (The Netherlands) and thus get the opportunity to liaise in HR work in the UK and other European countries. Based in Norrköping and as a member of the Nordic leadership team, you will be an experienced HR generalist who brings expertise to line managers in key areas such as Change Management, Employee Relations, Strategic Work Force Planning, Talent Management, and Performance Management. You will also work closely with our global HR technologies to provide high quality HR services within our organization.
The job involves:
• Counseling key clients on labor relations, HR processes and organizational design.
• Advising clients in the development of strategic staffing plans.
• Managing all aspects of the external hiring process.
• Handling the local terms and conditions including compensation and benefits in the Nordic countries.
• Implementation of global HR principles and processes as required, and supporting and working closely with the global HR technologies.
• Ensuring that the legal framework and requirements are met in the Nordic countries.
• Providing guidance and direction in interpreting and applying Corporate, national and local procedures, policies and regulations. Ensuring company's compliance in regard with Labor law and employment-related regulations in the Nordic countries.
• Developing and optimizing HR processes in compliance with the company's culture and policies.
• The role will involve travel within the region and occasionally within Europe.
The successful applicant will be a flexible and enthusiastic person who responds positively to challenges and change.
Profile description
• Degree in Business, Human Resources Management or equivalent.
• At least five years experiences of the Human Resource function.
• Relevant working experience in the Chemical Industry is an advantage but not required.
• A good understanding of labor law in the Nordic countries.
• Experience in employee relations and total rewards.
• Ability to balance company and employee needs, handle confidential information and stressful situations with tact and sensitivity.
• Hands-on and pro-active approach and ability to work without close guidance.
• Willingness to focus on both operational and tactical aspects of HR.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build up quickly trusted relationship with the leaders, the employees and the global organization.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Swedish and English, both verbal and written. Finnish language skills will be an asset.
