IES Länna is a school for grades 3-9 with approx. 630 students and 70 employees. We are a bilingual school that follows the Swedish curriculum. The role is highly flexible and you will work with pastoral areas as well as the student care team in the school supporting the students and teachers within the pastoral and student care aspects of the school.
We are looking for someone to fill the traditional SYV role but to go beyond just the career element and focus on the preparation needed to be successful in post-educational endeavors. This includes focus on social and emotional development, conflict resolution, organizational skills and stress management. Our ideal candidate would not only help prepare högstadiet students for gymnasievalet but would also begin implementing the aforementioned skills from grade 3 and upward. The role requires close collaboration with our counselor and our Student Care Coordinator, as much of this work is tied to the preventative work of the Student Care Team.
You provide a more holistic perspective on post-educational pursuits and ensure that our students are adequately prepared for what is to come when they leave IES Länna
