hela Sverige We are looking for a studio engineer for our client here in Gothenburg. You will be based at the client studio.
Daily tasks and responsibilities
Main responsibilities are to assure that the interior Digital surface models from Design are delivered according to agreed quality level. Secure that all technical solutions analysed in Catia V5 are maximized to meet the Design intention and deliver geometrical CAD data to all physical Design models. The work is done in close cooperation with Digital surface modelers, Model project leaders, Design program managers, Product Designers and R&D.
Main responsibilities
As a Senior Studio Engineer interior you are responsible to:
• Secure up-to-date competence in continuity. i.e Benchmark
• Support organisation with facts, technical information and earlier project experiences.
• Secure the DSM delivery when it comes to feasibility.
• Network with R&D and suppliers.
• Together with exterior Technical expert Initiate advanced engineering studies to meet Design intention
• Support Technical Expert interior develop processes, methods & tools
• Challenge and drive new technical solutions to support Design intention.
Competence Requirements
• Technical B.sc or equivalent based on experience.
• Documented Catia V5 and Team Center experience.
• Good communication & leadership skills
• Ability to present technical issues / solutions for top management.
• Ability to understand and communicate the Design intention.
• Very good English knowledge both written and spoken.
• Experience from product development work within the Car industry.
Personal qualities
As a Senior Studio Engineer interior you are expected to have a big passion for cars and a mindset to always strive for the best possible product. You are not afraid of conflicts and determined to find the best solution to meet the Design intention. This requires a high level of creativity, cross functional cooperation, multi-tasking and good Catia V5 skills. You have the ambition to be a part of making our client a successful and sustainable premium car manufacturer.
