Our Engineering department is creating a strong foundation of skills and we are therefore looking for a Studio Engineer with experience within the Automotive Industry.
You will be the active link between Creative design and engineering departments, and will provide support to the Creative design department regarding technical constraints and opportunities. The Studio Engineer represents the Creative design department in cross-functional team and will have a strong interest in Creative design, with knowledge of vehicle layout and good automotive and manufacturing knowledge.
Your daily duties will consist of:
• Transferring and describing engineering and key legislative requirements to Creative design
• Generate feasible solutions for technically challenging areas
• Being the voice of Creative design, communicating Creative design intents and needs within engineering
• Document feasibility of design themes and raise critical issues
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
• Relevant engineering experience in the work area, minimum10 years
• University engineering education or equivalent experience.
• Capacity and ability to understand the Creative design ideas and translate into feasible technical solutions
• Siemens NX and Teamcenter
• Master English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
To be successful in the role, you need to:
• Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded.
• Have good communication skills.
• Have excellent automotive industry knowledge.
• Have the ability to plan and prioritize.
