A Student Placement at H&M
So, what does it mean to join us as a student at our HQ in Stockholm? During your student placement you will get the opportunity to assist a product developer/buyer in one of our product teams within the H&M Group. Together with the rest of the team, you will be involved in developing collections sold worldwide in all our markets. This is a great opportunity to learn from and be influenced by experienced colleagues from diverse backgrounds to develop your own skills and competences!

What can H&M Group offer you during a student placement?
• A 3 month contract including the possibility of 3 months extension (max 6 months total including the initial 3 months) if both parties agree.
• A paid student placement.
• Additional benefits: internal courses, fitness contribution and 25% staff discount at all the H&M-group stores and brands.
• Good lunch benefits and daily free fruit, tea & coffee.
• Insurance during your normal working hours at H&M.
We're looking for Buying/Product Development Students who:
• Are a current student at fashion/textile/buying program.
• Can do a placement that will take place during the education period.
• Have knowledge of textile materials and trims.
• Have passion for fashion and a genuine interest in Buying.
• Have strong analytical skills and is business minded.
• Are driven and result oriented.
• Are team players with leadership skills.
• Have experience in sales, store or e-commerce within the fashion/retail industry.
• Are fluent in English.

This is what will happen during the assessment for the internship/student placement program:
9th January - the last day to hand in your application.
10th January - as a first step you will receive assessment tests to your email. Please complete these latest 16th January.
The Talent Acquisition Team will evaluate all applications after the tests are completed.
27th & 28th January - Assessment Days with MS Teams interviews.
When all steps of the assessment are completed, we will make the final selection of candidates.
