Internationella Engelska Skolan Enskede is now seeking a Student Care Co-ordinator to join our fantastic working environment in August 2024. This is your opportunity to work at our founding school in an international environment with a productive and encouraging team.
Job Summary: The Student Care Co-Ordinator plays a crucial role in a supportive and engaging environment for students in years 4 and 5. This position involves planning, coordinating, and leading activities that promote social, emotional, and educational development. The Student Care Co-Ordinator serves as the primary liaison with the Student Care Manager and acts as their backup when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Junior Club Activity Planning and Coordination:
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and programs for students in years 4 and 5.
• Ensure activities are inclusive, engaging, and aligned with developmental goals.
• Maintain a calendar of activities and communicate schedules to students and parents.
2. Student Supervision and Support:
• Supervise and engage with students during activities to ensure a safe and positive environment.
• Address the behavioural and emotional needs of students, providing support and guidance as necessary.
• Foster a sense of community and belonging among students.
3. Collaboration with Student Care Manager:
• Work closely with the Student Care Manager to align activities with overall program goals.
• Provide regular updates on student progress, activity outcomes, and any concerns.
• Serve as the primary point of contact in the absence of the Student Care Manager.
4. Administrative Duties:
• Maintain accurate records of student participation and activity outcomes.
• Assist with the preparation of materials and resources for activities.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
• Attend weekly Pastoral information meetings.
5. Communication:
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other staff members.
• Address any questions or concerns from parents regarding activities and student well-being.
• Facilitate feedback from students and parents to improve program quality.

6. Professional Development:
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• Stay informed about best practices in early childhood education and student care.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in early childhood education or related field preferred.
• Previous experience working with young children in an educational or care setting.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Work Environment:
• This position involves working in a classroom and outdoor setting.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• May require occasional evening or weekend hours for special events.
