Vi söker en Student Care Coordinator till vår nya skola i Upplands Väsby.
Internationella Engelska Skolan Upplands Väsby öppnades i Augusti 2020. Vi har startat upp med 16 klasser i åk F-7 för att under nästa läsår utvecklas vidare till en F-8 skola. 2022 kommer vi att vara en F-9 skola med ca 640 elever.
IES i Upplands Väsby är en internationella skola på riktigt. Vi har en fantastisk mix av personal från hela världen tillsammans med personal från Sverige vilket kommer att leda till ökad kvalitet på utbildningen. Att få vara med och starta upp en ny skola innebär att man får vara med och bygga upp en skola från grunden. Detta innebär också att man måste vara flexibel och beredd på att jobba inom olika områden.
Vi tror på vår metod, the IES Ethos, att med tydligt fokus på studiero, trygghet och respekt bygga en positiv skolmiljö som är tillåtande och inkluderande - och som ger bra skolresultat. About the role:
The role of the Student Care Coordinator is to increase the safety and the involvement of our students so that they enjoy school and can focus on learning and social growth. An important part of this position is to see and help students who are in need of extra support in order to reach their potential.
The Student Care Coordinator will be in charge of Behavior Meetings which will be held with the HoYs in Junior and Senior School. The purpose of these meetings is to facilitate the communication between the Student Care Coordinator and the mentors + HoYs.
The Student Care Coordinator will make his/her presence known in the corridors, in the break room and outside so that students understand that there is always someone they can turn to if they need help.
The Student Care Coordinator should be a role model to our students and follow the ethos of IES Borås.
In addition the coordinator is a member of the Safe School Environment Team which helps investigate reports of discriminatory/degrading behaviour. The coordinator shall also help in defusing verbal/physical incidents at school when applicable.
