Are you a student studying to become an engineer or are you at your master within a relevant field, such as sustainability, data or similar? Do you have an eye for details and are you interested in working with the academic and scientific process? Then you might be the right person for this job! Academic Work is currently looking for a part-time Student Assistant on behalf of Normative. OM TJÄNSTEN
Normative has developed the world's first emission accounting engine. They help companies calculate their climate footprint and provide insights to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. Their work helps clients become more aware of their role in contributing to a better world, and therefore, being part of the Normative team means that you will contribute to a net-zero world.

In this position, you will be part of a the Science & Climate Research team. This is a part-time position where you will work approximately 8-10 hours/week. With Normative having a remote-first culture, the hours are very flexible.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
In this role you will mainly work with large amounts of data which require a strong eye for detail. You will also co-operate and communicate with colleagues in your team as well as within the organization as a whole.

In this position you will, among other things:

• Background research to support scientific projects
• Condensing latest developments in the carbon accounting industry (e.g., regulatory space, sustainability metrics and rankings)
• Gather and analyze data to produce analytical articles for web and social media (e.g., industries' decarbonization pathways and news)
• Fact check texts from a scientific perspective by researching relevant facts & figures
• Contributing to internal knowledge databases
• Support communication by researching scientific facts and data.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
As a Student Assistant you are meticulous, structured and have an endurance in working with detailed data for the most of your working day. To be successful in this role we are now looking for someone who:

• Is currently studying to be an engineer or in your master within a relevant field, such as sustainability, data or similar.
• Has experience in the academic and scientific process from example wiritng a thesis
• Has very good knowledge in English, both written and speaking
