If you want to be part of our successful development we are looking for a full time student assistant to work with a grade 7 student starting in November 2020.
Required competencies and desired qualifications/experiences
The main duties of the Student Assistant are:
• Focus on one year 7 student during school days
• Building positive relationships with the student
• Supporting the student with his everyday activities;
• Communication between parents, teachers, student and external agencies
• Ensure that the student understands and completes work in class
• Encouraging a calm, safe orderly environment at all times
• Promote loyalty to the vision and values of the school
Skills
• Experience of working well with others or as part of a team
• Native Swedish and/or English (both preferable)
• Basic understanding of student care and pedagogy
• Training or equivalent of students with special needs
Behaviours
• Good communicator and relationship builder
• Structured and organised
• Honest, reliable and trustworthy
• Embraces teamwork
