About the role
You will be a part of a team consisting of three Program Managers, responsible for guiding high-potential startups through our SSE Business Lab programs and develop the programs in response to the ever-changing needs of our startups. Although you will be working in a team, you will have your own areas of responsibilities and expected to develop those areas. Your areas of responsibilities are set together with the CEO and the Program Manager Team Lead. Our programs aim to provide professional and valuable support to our entrepreneurs[LA1] , regardless of the stage their business idea and company is at. You will help to adapt and develop the programs for our startups by continuously contributing with need-focused ideas and feedback, with the purpose of increasing their quality and maintaining the high success rate of the SSE Business Lab startups.

Work responsibilities
Just as in startups, you experiment, learn, problem-solve, and adjust as you go. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Exploring: Explore the current and future needs of our startups, recognize growth opportunities and act on them.
- Streamlining: Develop routines and processes in order to systematize workflow and improve team performance.
- Organizing: Organize member activities such as onboarding exercises, professional workshops and knowledge exchange events.
- Building: Help to build our pool of resources by continuously adding to our list of contributors, such as coaches, mentors, workshop facilitators, etc.
- Manage: Manage and improve the Mentorship program



Is this you?
We are looking for a structured doer with exceptional problem-solving skills who is eager to take on their next challenge in a startup environment. You are likely to be described as an autonomous and collaborative person with a strong interest for learning new things. You are flexible, service-minded and enjoy working in a fast-paced and changing environment. Your communication style is clear and inspires confidence, and you have the ability to adapt your communication to the situation you are in.



Requirements
- Experience from the startup world, either from working with a startup/incubation and/or for a Venture Capital fund.
- Strong interest in the startup ecosystem and passionate about learning more
- Strong communication skills (we move quickly and work on keeping everyone informed of our progress)
- Oral and written fluency in English



Meritorious
- Experience from business development and/or customer support similar to the tasks included in this role
- Experience from establishing and running your own startup company
- Oral and/or written communication skills in Swedish

Other

SSE Business Lab is the startup incubator of the Stockholm School of Economics and has since its founding in 2001 supported over 230 companies, such as Klarna, Voi Technology, Scrive, Macacos and Budbee. We offer three programs called Ideate, Activate and Incubate for students and startups in different growth phases in which we support our companies in building their entrepreneurial skillset and provide them with the tools necessary to succeed with a business idea.

The support we provide includes coaching, mentoring, workshops, office space, community, partners and an investor network.
