We'll launch Viaplay in at least 10 new markets by the end of 2023 with a strong sport rights portfolio and are now looking to strengthen our Live Streaming Experience team in Stockholm.

The position
We need a strong collaborator who is fluent in streaming video technology with a proven experience of all aspects of video infrastructure processes.

The Live Streaming Experience team's vision is to provide uninterrupted, high quality live streaming experiences, and we see you being a key player here with the opportunity to impact a product that affects millions of costumers!

What we are looking for
• Develop our streaming platform to ensure stable and redundant high performance
• Perform analysis, diagnosis and resolution of the entire live video workflow, from ingest to video playback
• Optimize video delivery together with our CDN partners
• Manage our encoding and monitoring solutions
• Follow up on QoE statistics and investigate potential issues
• Evaluate and test new or alternative solutions and products
• Ensure company success by transparent reporting and communication, cross-product cooperation and acting in accordance with company values and regulations
• Maintain and cultivate relationships with current and existing vendors/partners to improve video quality of service experience
• Maintain documentation of hardware maintenance, configuration, failures, removal, and installation
• Advocate our team's mission to the organization

Successful candidates also meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (computer science, engineering etc.) and/or equivalent experience
• Proven video streaming and media workflow experience and in-depth knowledge and understanding of streaming technologies
• Strong knowledge of Video Content Management Systems, video player development and video security
• Self-motivated, detail oriented with excellent communication/interpersonal skills
