About the role
We are looking for a driven and committed talent to become part our team. Our team is responsible for developing the long-term strategic direction for the Group and for systematically collecting, analyzing and reporting external competitive environment and market conditions impacting Essity's business, providing insight and foresight and thereby supporting strategic decision making across Essity.
The position is located at the Essity head office in the Waterfront Building, just a couple of minutes from the Stockholm Central Station. The Stockholm office includes around 120 experts from the group functions Finance, Legal, Human Resources and Communications, as well as the CEO office. You will be reporting to the VP Strategy and Competitive Intelligence.
What you will do
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
Continuously follow up Essity's competitive environment including news management (market dynamics and market sizing, competitive landscape etc.)
Conduct comprehensive research and in-depth analyses (financial and non-financial), generate strategic insights, summarize results and recommendations to inform strategic decisions
Take an active role in driving continuous improvements of the function's deliverables and ways of working according to defined priorities
Cooperate closely with internal stakeholders, participating in relevant forums and maintaining strong working relationships with other organizations

You have
University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent relevant area
1-3 years of working experience within strategy consultancy or a comparable analytical/conceptual role
Good financial understanding
Excellent skills in MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point
Excellent communication and presentation skills in written and spoken English
