The role as Strategy Manager
As the Strategy Manager at Upptec you will lead and plan work streams related to International strategy and corporate business development, across business units. The role is a combination of analysing global market conditions and effectively percept their impact on strategy and driving internal process improvements. Together with the Chief Product Officer and the corporate team, you will consult business units internally in the development and execution of the corporate strategy.

Responsibilities as Strategy Manager include, but are not limited to:

• Leading execution and act as project manager in strategic and operational engagements
• Analysing, documenting, and communicating market conditions and percept their impact on strategy
• Continuously assessing and developing organisational structures and processes as the company grows and faces new opportunities
• Planning and facilitating workshops to discover solutions to complex business challenges
• Monitor feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to shape requirements and product roadmaps
• Collaborating with business units across regional and functional areas

Who are you?
For this role we are looking for a generalist, rather than a specialist. It is a broad role where you should be able to lead projects, do great analyzes and have a strategic business mindset. You as a person should take great responsibility for your work and should at the same time be unpretentious, with a good ability to collaborate closely with other functions within the company. You can keep a high pace and still have attention to details. It is also crucial that you understand both the technical, as well as the business aspects of our company and services.

We believe that you have:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in business or engineering or related field

• Excellent problem solving capabilities and a solution-oriented approach

• Strong organisational and analytical skills, with experience in leading parallel workflows across multiple business areas

• Experience of working abroad and/or being part of an international team

• Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word)

• Excellent Swedish and English oral and written communication skills

Experience from working in the insurance industry and/or SaaS is considered a plus. The position occasionally requires some travels, however mostly conferences and customer meetings.
