In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
Influence, formulate and execute on the strategy and transformation agenda for Group Business Support, by driving and supporting our transformation efforts, reporting to the Head of Strategy & Management Support.
Lead strategic and transformative initiatives, projects, and programs of various length and magnitude, often collaborating with senior decision-makers across the bank.
Contribute to program plans and business cases (quantitative and qualitative), ensuring tangible results for our operations and profitability.
Support and/or lead activities related to management reporting within GBS and maintain a structure for our deliveries.
Support and/or lead activities and analysis related to mergers & acquisitions.
Support and/or lead activities and analysis related to Swedbank's fully-owned subsidiaries and associated companies.
Support and/or lead activities and analysis related to other strategic analysis and projects.
Take on diverse ad-hoc tasks, from various management support, workshops to report writing.
Ensure that Group Business Support agenda aligns with the broader Swedbank Group agenda.
What is needed in this role:
Relevant academic background and 2-4+ years of work experience, ideally within Management Consulting (strategy / M&A / P&E) or equivalent role within a large corporate.
Track record of successfully leading strategic projects and programs of various types, lengths and magnitudes.
Strong analytical abilities and experience with relevant business/data/analysis models, frameworks and structures.
Ability and track record of engaging stakeholders at all levels in an efficient and appropriate manner.
Swedish and English language proficiency.
Advanced MS Office proficiency, primarily in PowerPoint and Excel (strong corporate strategy/consulting toolbox).
Prestigeless, "go-getter" attitude with willingness to "get your hands dirty" with various analysis/administrative activities spread across the project and program management cycle.
Hands-on and pragmatic mindset, comfortable moving between strategy, execution, and detail.
Curious personality with a strong will and want to learn and develop.
Track record of self-leadership and self-drive, able to work independently with no/limited guidance at times.
Ability to adopt a versatile work-setting mindset, putting in the work when needed, to meet deadlines.
Collaborative spirit and strong commitment to team collaboration.
Previous experience in banking and financial services is advantageous, but not a pre-requisite.
