The mobile telecom industry is going to transform in the coming years, the Communication Service Providers are moving from Mobile Broadband best effort services to differentiated connectivity that together with API exposure enable new business models. The way CSPs are investing in network infrastructure is also changing when the vendor eco-system embraces more openness. In the midst, the definition of 6G is going to be established leading to a new standard in the 2030 time frame. As Strategy Manager in Business Area Networks, Strategy and Technology team, you will be part of shaping Ericsson's journey in these exciting times.
About this opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and expert Strategy Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Strategy Manager for Mobile Networks, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of the company, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring our position as a market leader in the rapidly evolving telecommunications industry.
What you will do
* Strategic Planning: Develop the overall strategic plan for Business Area Networks, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
* Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential business opportunities in the mobile network infrastructure sector.
* Business Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and pursue new business ventures, partnerships, and alliances that enhance the company's market presence and revenue streams.
* Financial Modelling: Create and maintain financial models to assess the feasibility and profitability of strategic initiatives, providing key insights to support decision-making.
* Risk Management: Assess potential risks and challenges associated with strategic initiatives, and develop mitigation plans to ensure successful execution.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers, to foster collaboration and support the implementation of strategic initiatives.
You will bring
* Master's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Technology, Finance, or an equivalent; MBA is preferred.
* Proven experience in strategy management, business development, pre-sales or a related role within the telecommunications or technology industry.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage with diverse stakeholders.
* Strategic problem solver with the ability to balance short-term goals and long-term vision.
* Knowledge of mobile network infrastructure technologies and industry trends.
