Do you want to join the Brake system & Vehicle Control team (BSVC) on our very exciting journey, being able to influence the development of future truck solutions for E-mobility and automation?
The mission of the Strategy and Technology Leader is to define, and facilitate the execution of necessary activities within BSVC in order to secure implementation of our product strategies.
About the role
This position offers you the challenge to be involved in technology development from advanced engineering through product development and into the maintenance phase.
Specific focus will on execution of advanced engineering initiatives connected to future solutions and systems supporting for example automated driving and electromobility.
To have an interest in developing processes and ways of working is an advantage as it is an integral part of this role.
Furthermore, your task will be to support to the product and system road map (strategy) responsibles in defining technology strategies in the areas of wheel ends, braking systems, air management and air suspension systems. Analysis of "the world around us" is a very interesting task, and your mission is to see what are the best practices in the industry for our area are.
In order to succeed in this role you need to develop an extensive network within Vehicle Engineering, as well as towards other stakeholders, such as powertrain engineering, production, aftermarket and purchasing.
You will be a member of the BSVC management team and report to the BSVC Global Technology Manager.

In order to succeed in your new role we think you have:
MSc Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or similar
>10 years of product development experience in the automotive industry, with "cradle to the grave" product responsibility and >5 years in development of vehicle dynamics systems
Leadership experience
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Supplier management experience is a merit
Experience from agile product development using the SAFe framework is a merit
