hela Sverige Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
As Digital is one of the key drivers in the ecosystem of logistics and sustainable transport solutions Scania in 2017 established a strategic function with the aim at accelerating digitalization cross Scania. Digital transformation is engaging all parts of Scania's business from Product Development, Order to delivery, Sales to Service delivery. The function is headed by CDO Mikael Cato, reporting to CEO Henrik Henriksson.
The aim of the Digital function is to
• set and calibrate the overall direction in Scania's digital ambition together with the business
• inspire, challenge and support the organisation in achieving accelerating digitalisation
The digitalisation efforts are executed across functionally and cross process through
• a digital officer network consisting of business representatives appointed by the respective Executive Board member
• a central team of strategic, digital and leadership competence
As a member of the central team, the person we are searching for will fill an important role in establishing and driving the fundamentals of current position, vision and objectives, planning, governance and organisation.
Your tasks
Scania is accelerating its pace of adopting digital technologies and methodologies to bring excellence to core processes, and capture the value from new business models. The aim for this role is to strongly contribute to the further development of Scania's strategy for data, analytics, and automation; as well as planning its deployment, managing the execution of key initiatives cross-process and cross-functionally, and ensure maturity progress and value creation through them. This will be of significant importance in enabling Scania to execute on our new market positioning in the ecosystem of logistics and sustainable transport.
The main tasks are the following
• Plan and lead activities in developing, defining, visualizing and implementing Scania's overall digital vision and objectives - with a specific focus on data, analytics, and automation
• Plan and lead the development of three of Scania's digital common enablers: Data Management, BI and Advanced Analytics, and Business Automation
• Ensure business functions capture the value from enabler capability building through awareness raising, inspiration, and orchestration; and become increasingly digitally mature
• Lead critical programs/projects on either an operational level or in a steering group context
• Provide insights and recommendations for overall governance and structure
• Communication in all shapes and forms
Your profile
• You have an Master's degree or equivalent and 3+ years of experience working with business transformation through digital and/or IT - particularly with focus on data, analytics, and automation.
• You are analytical, creative and accurate and highly motivated to solve problems and creating lasting results
• You have the ability to structure and explain complex conditions in a concrete and educational way
• You are responsive and have the ability to build and develop relationships to drive change
• You have an entrepreneurial drive and innovative approach where you excel in taking initiatives and making things happen
• You have experience in leading and driving initiatives on C-level in an international business context
• You have follow the market with an in-depth understanding of the technology implications of the manufacturing industry
