Your role
Your role will include supporting the business areas projects and programs with commercial responsibility and to continuously evaluate the market competitiveness of the current supplier portfolio. You will have the opportunity to manage your own category and/or supplier base which can include services, material or components. As a Strategic Buyer you will also be responsible for negotiating, actively managing and further developing our supplier agreements. The role will give you opportunities to build an extensive network, both internally and externally.
The main tasks:
* Establish and continuosly develop strategies for your supplier base or category
* Purchasing and negotiations within your category
* Actively run change- and improvement initiatives in your category
* Secure and follow up on overarching department goals
* Drive cross-functional teams focusing on effectiveness and cost savings
Your Profile
We see our future colleague as an independent individual with technical knowledge, commercial judgement and a holistic view with the ability to close agreements and reach our targets. You are driven, responsive, have strong communication skills and is able to work in groups and drive processes forward. To succeed in your role you are experienced and independent in the following competence areas; procurement, negotiations, agreements and business analytics. Relevant university and/or professional experience within purchasing is a demand. As the role often entails acting as part-time project manager/ team leader leadership skills are key. We assume that you are fluent in English and mastering an additional language is a plus.

What you will be part of
You will be part of Aeronautic, a business area with in Saab, which is responsible for development, production, marketing, sales and support of the Gripen program. Aeronautics offers also flight related sub systems, unmanned flight systems, aircraft structures and services to the defence customers, and the civil flight industry all over the world.
Aeronautics Supply Chain Management department is responsible for procurement, logistics development and supplier chain management for the production department. You will collaborate with passionate and supportive professionals in an environment that posters career development and personal growth.
