As a strategical Purchaser at Schindler your job is essentially to move people and manage relationships.

Job description
As our new Strategical purchasing manager, you will ensure a successful process integration between us and our suppliers. You will coordinate and protect joint resources for a sustained competitive advantage and have close interactions with suppliers and colleges. You are in charge of creating collaborative relationships and make sure we have conditions which allows our supplier to contribute and develop the relationships for firm advantage. You are a business partner to our different departments. This is a highly operational role with focus on transformation and development of crucial business processes. If you are the one for this job it can develop into a Nordic coordinating position.
In detail you will:
• Managing suppliers and material master data in the company's ERP system.
• Communicating and coordinating with various departments and support functions within the Schindler network.
• Understand and analyze current practices and interfaces and optimize the ordering process of spare parts and materials.
• Educate, support and follow up of field operations regarding changes within supply chain
• Ensure an efficient handling of the company's fleet.
• In a role as project leader drive internal improvement projects related to supply chain and purchasing
• Other purchase related topics like:
o Handling of Lease contracts, IFRS 16
o Frequent Contact with the company's suppliers
o Contract negotiations
Who are you as a person?
In this role you will manage projects and have many social interactions. Because of this we think that you have strong social skills and you are very goal oriented. You are a people person. Since your goal is to manage relationships we see someone with a diplomatic appearance. You must be strategic. This is not a role where you can focus on transactional tasks. Your skills, experience and education
University (Bachelor or Master)
2-4 years of experience in a similar role
Fluent in Swedish and English
Experience from project management, follow-up, negotiations, contract law

Start 1 of June 2019 Reporting directly to CFO with dotted line to the companies EI Director Part of the aftermarket management team Placement in the head office in Stockholm, Danderyd but you will travel from time to time.
