The Logistics Function within Volvo Car Customer Service is responsible for spare parts availability for Volvo Car Group markets all over the world. The responsibility includes the entire material flow from supplier to customer. The business is built around a central warehouse in Gothenburg and China, as well as a number of supporting warehouses around the world.
Main responsibilities
* Set the Global Strategic Agenda for sourcing and refill within parts supply & logistics
* Drive and Manage key improvements projects, Cross-functional and strategic
* Implement and secure sustainable project improvements
* KPI driven process improvement through process owners
* Translate corporate strategy to Global Logistics direction and tactical implication
* Strategic Consequences analysis within the Logistic Area
* External benchmark and best practice for Logistics
* Support and Knowledge sharing
Desired qualifications
* Proven successful Senior Project Leadership skills from areas within logistics, business and process development
* Experience from strategical work, operational transformation and leading in change
* Holistic and broad understanding of the total Logistic Value Chain
* Ability to discover new business opportunities incl. possibilities that new IT technology share
* University degree or equivalent in Logistic Engineering and/or Business Administration
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)

* Excellent analytical and statistical skills
* Holistic view and conceptual thinking
* Open to learn new things and courage to challenge the old
* Business and performance driven
* Excellent skills and experience in analytical methods
* Excellent in delivery
* Skilled in presentations, communication (all levels) and collaboration actions
* Ability to handle long term planned activities and short term priorities and strategies
* Team player with Integrity and leadership skills
