Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter: The Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for the execution of the Sourcing Process of Global Categories. He/She analyses, evaluates current processes and practices and develops a sourcing strategy with the objective of ensuring that targets are met within the overall framework of TitanX and TACO corporate objectives. MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work in accordance with TISIX core strategies, group purchasing policy and strategies, and SQAD policy as well as ISO/TS16949, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001. . Lead category buyer for 3 key direct material categories Own the global sourcing strategy for Rolled Aluminum, Plastic molding and Hydraulics. Lead the global category team and follow-up in Global Steering Committee. Engage with stake holders and secure buy-in from the organization, in order to identify and implement value creation opportunities and leverage synergies between TitanX and TACO sourcing. . Senior strategic buyer - ESA Participate in the sourcing strategies for all Direct Materials categories in ESA in collaboration with the strategic purchasing team in place and the purchasing manager. Sheet metal components, casting, rubber, electrical fans and fasteners will be addressed. In order to identify and implement value creation opportunities . Strategic sourcing process Evaluate tactical & strategic procurement processes & operational performance of TitanX locations, perform gap analysis, and identify performance improvement plans, establish and implement in consultation with TitanX's Purchasing management team in order to deliver targets in value creation and cost saving . TitanX/TACO synergies for indirect materials and CapEx .Participate in key global/local sourcing efforts as expert. Share best practices and suppliers capabilities with the category team. Facilitate the communication with TACO network. This position hold the global responsibility for the Personal Protection Equipment category.
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer: . Bachelor degree (BE in Mechanical/Automobile/Production, Business Management, Purchasing or Finance) . 5-10 years with Sourcing/Planning/Vendor development/Quality Management System in automotive or heavy duty vehicle market . Knowledge of Automotive and Auto component industry trends, technologies, Global Supply Chain, Purchasing, Business Management, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, Supplier Development, Lean Manufacturing, Business Process Improvement, Strategic Planning, Change Management, Strategic Relationship Mgt., Leadership Development . Experience with international organization and lean manufacturing principles . Strong and proven knowledge and skills in negotiation and computer/Microsoft Office . Established organization, interpersonal and communication skills . Fluent English, Hindi and Punjabi.
