The division Rocktec coordinates and develops technology solutions, provides specialist consulting and engineering services. The division drives the automation and interoperability expansions for Epiroc's divisions. Our in-house competence center pro-actively supports all divisions in developing better and more attractive products. The divisional headquarters are located in Örebro, Sweden. The research and development centers are located in Bangalore, India, and Örebro, Sweden.
Join our team
We are looking for a new Strategic Sourcing Manager to our Rocktec division in Örebro. In order to enjoy this position you should be passionate to collaborate with our R&D organization and our suppliers to develop electronic platform products with focus on total cost.You will also be responsible for all types of internal electronic business models in interaction with the other divisions in the company.
You will be leading a relatively small organization of 4 people. Your team are also passionate and work very integrated in the whole New Product Development process with close interaction with our R&D team.
Job description
The main tasks for the Strategic Sourcing Manager is to secure the supply chain of electronics to the capital divisions and the aftermarket organization. The job role also include to develop long term supplier strategies and evaluate and select suppliers accordingly. Working with supplier development, quality, cost and lead time.
Your profile
You have a university degree in the supply chain area or other adequate experiences. You should also have more than 5 years of experience from supply chain and preferably some years of experience as a manager. We believe you have an inspiring and mature leadership style. You stimulate your team to develop, perform, and support their colleagues in a structured and positive way. You are goal oriented, structured and have a positive attitude.
This position includes many internal and external contacts you should therefore have high communications skills. A good understanding of negotiations and contractual issues is important for the position.
This position requires fluency in both Swedish and English.
Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro and some travels are required.
