TitanX is recruiting a Strategic Sourcing Buyer
We now need to strengthen our purchasing department in the Oil Cooler Division (PLOC) with a strategic sourcing buyer. You will mainly work with products and suppliers in the field of stamping, cutting, machining/turning and punched details in stainless steel and carbon steel. A rapid scope expansion into ferrous and non-ferrous metal is conceivable. You will be expected to fulfill category targets supporting the Product Line Cost Reduction plans, short and long terms. Here you will be working with sourcing activities, supplier selection & development, contract negotiation aiming to design and implement the sourcing strategies for the different product categories. You will be working with cost engineering tools, market intelligence data and supplier's product and process parameters. Your supplier base will be worldwide. The position is part of a global purchasing organization and you report to the Purchasing Director of Product Line Oil Cooler (PLOC).
For us it is important to work proactively with contract management, price controls, risk management and develop our existing suppliers and potential suppliers. There will also be elements of operational work in the job, primarily by supporting the operational activities of suppliers. We see that it 's important that you build and maintain a list of qualified current & potential suppliers and build up and lead a Category network. Initiate and lead global supplier development are activities that we want you to act on and manage the risk assessment on the supplier base

Who are you?
You do not necessarily have to come from the Automotive industry, but it is of course meritorious - the important thing is that you have been working with purchasing in a similar role for about 5 years, where you have taken your own initiative and conducted your own negotiations. Your personal qualities are crucial to how successful you will be in the job. We believe we know that you need to be able to act on your own initiative, make things happen and take responsibility for the outcome. You are probably also analytical and are stress-resistant. With a methodological and systematic approach, you plan in advance to solve the tasks.
For us, the team is important so therefore you need to be a team player that is helpful and supportive so that we together contribute to reaching the company's and foresight's goals. If you have technical interest and knowledge, this is an advantage as well as experience with the TS16959 and PPAP quality system. Very good knowledge of English in speech and writing. God knowledge in Excel is a requirement. You probably have a Bachelor degree in science or economics.
