We are seeking a talented Strategic Sales Director to join our team and lead our Trucks sales efforts and develop our presence in the diverse and dynamic markets in the region. As the Strategic Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in translating Scania's corporate strategy into the local markets in a tight collaboration with Parts and Services as well as the regional office in AOR. A large part of your scope will also be to set the strategy for the China factory and ensuring target fulfillment from this regionalization of our production system.

Key Responsibilities
You're key responsibilities is clustered in three main areas:

Strategy
The strategic responsibility we have in Sales and Marketing is fully executed in the strategic sales director role, as we focus on Scania's long term profitability and market and business plans, all in line with our purpose of driving the shift towards a sustainable transport system.

Financial performance
You will hold the full mandate to drive profitability and volume targets in the assigned region AOR. This will require that you have the ability to analyze and identify profit pools, use a consolidated approach to create value for Scania, design pricing strategies and present the performance in various forum with senior management presence.

Information management and leadership
Ensure that our Distributors are up to date on both tactical and strategic areas in a Scania as well as a TRATON context. We wish that you act as a link between the commercial and industrial system, with an emphasis of always bringing knowledge to the markets and from the markets into our development areas. You work closely with both business support managers and business and process developers, which is why your leadership skills are crucial.

To manage the above responsibilities should demonstrate a deep understanding and appreciation of the cultural nuances and business practices prevalent in the highly diverse markets in your portfolio.

Market Insight: Stay informed about the latest market trends, consumer preferences, and regulatory changes specific to the markets to adapt strategies accordingly.
Relationship-Building: Leverage on interpersonal skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers and stakeholders across diverse cultures.

Flexibility: Adapt strategies and approaches to accommodate the unique characteristics and requirements of each market, recognizing that one size does not fit all.

Innovation: Harness the innovative spirit prevalent in many Asian markets to develop creative sales strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Patience and Persistence: Recognize that building trust and establishing long-term relationships in the markets may require time and perseverance, and exhibit patience in achieving strategic objectives.

Who you are
As a candidate, it 's crucial to believe that you are the best fit for the job and that you 're committed to personal growth while making significant contributions to our important responsibilities. The qualifications are secondary. Hopefully you fulfil some of the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing or related field (Mandatory).
• Proven track record of success in strategic sales leadership roles, where experience in the Asian-Oceanian market is preferred.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with a deep understanding of the intricacies of doing business in Asia.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
