Business Area Networks (BNEW) is responsible for Ericsson 's industry leading Networks products and solutions and is the foundation for Ericsson's technology leadership. BNEW is passionate about securing our ongoing market leadership, continuing establishing a leadership position in 5G, and continuing to invest for sustainable technology leadership within a highly competitive market.
We are looking for a strategic sales and management reporting financial analyst. This opportunity offers a wide range of stakeholder's interaction from business and finance organizations. You will be the direct support for BNEW sales & commercial units acting as financial advisor to influence decision making by providing the prescriptive analysis and insights. Together with sales business control, you will support in business simulations, business planning & scenario analysis. Additionally, this role takes a major part of BNEW management reporting in form of driving closing and forecast related activities with high degree of MA and BNEW Financial units interaction.
This role is part of BNEW BC financial control and reports directly to the head of this unit.
What you will do
As an Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting BNEW sales & commercial management & BC with insightful analysis, recommendation and foresight connecting to on financial performance including:
Drive adherence to the financial governance while ensuring smooth and efficient WoW and processes for the financial structure of reporting for BNEW.
Provide deeper insights into financial performance by combining financial with also strategically important non-finance parameters connecting to validation of strategic execution.
Secure business performance and enhance processes in period end closing.
Drive and support in financial planning (short & long term).
Innovate and drive reporting and analytics solution including automation, simplification and various change/improvement projects.
Engage in sales business development meetings for all Market Areas.
Prepare BNEW and Market Areas financial packages for LT, and take active role in transforming it to SAC together with reporting & analytics FAs.
Collaborate with Market Areas business finance teams (align MA/BA views).
Manage recurrent, ad-hoc analysis, and management reporting (SAC commentary).
Participate in finance transformation projects.
Qualifications & Skills Requirements
Strategical thinking and strong P&L financial accounting and reporting skills.
Strong financial Analysis skills and Storytelling capabilities.
Experience from roles involves deals and customer project accounting financial models.
Good knowledge of the BA BNEW business portfolios.
Good knowledge of Ericsson FIRE reporting.
Good knowledge of Data Visualization tools such as SAC, Power BI.
You will bring
Solid experience from previous business finance roles, MA experience merited.
Skills from navigating in complex organizations and multi-stakeholder environment
Strong cultural awareness and ability to lead and take charge
Communication and collaboration skills are key. Transparency, listening skills and ability to empower and encourage people.
