Worktasks
As a Strategic purchaser you are a part of Saint-Gobain Nordic and Baltic Delegation Purchasing and an integral part in the central purchasing organization for the Nordic countries. Your main responsibility is the category Energy but with efficient processes and routines in place the target is to develop the position to cover other categories as well.
Energy purchasing is managed based on Group and Delegation policies and the holder of this position will be highly involved in establishing new and/or updated policies and procedures within the area of responsibility.
Key responsibilities:
• Ensure that Saint-Gobain has “best in class†Energy suppliers offering good service, low costs and a reasonable and predictable risk exposure related to price fluctuations on the global and local energy markets
• Ensure that Energy contracts and hedge positions always are in line with internal Group or Delegation policies
• Establish well-structured roadmaps, targets, actions and objectives within the category Energy and other categories within the scope of the position.
• Regular progress reports in relation to objectives.
• Calculate, estimate, consolidate and distribute budgets and forecasts.
• Define and suggest appropriate KPI’s within the category Energy – display and distribute KPI’s to relevant stakeholders including Group Purchasing in Paris.
• Drive the World Class Purchasing program within the category Energy and spread/implement best practices.
You report to Purchasing Director, Saint-Gobain Nordic and Baltic Delegation.
Your profile
To be successful in this role you have knowledge and experience within Purchasing and knowledge of the energy market (primarily Nordic Electricity market). You are fluent in one of the Nordic languages (Swedish, Danish or Norwegian) and also fluent in English. You have good computer skills (primarily in Excel).
Furthermore you have experience and proven skills within negotiation. Your analytical, networking and communication skills are excellent and you have a strategic and longterm mindset.
