We are making room for you to join a challenging position in one of the most expansive real estate companies in Europe. Sustainable Mindset is one of Heimstaden's strategic pillars, and as we are quickly growing, we are in need of a Strategic Purchaser with focus on Sustainability - and this is where you come in. Be part of an ambitious team based in central Malmö where you will play an essential role of developing the supply chain processes to be in line with our vision, and help implementing new ideas to ensure even better relations with our suppliers!
Some of your responsibilities will be:
Keeping up-to-date with current laws and regulations, specifically regulations that have a direct effect on Heimstaden's sustainable purchasing;
Help the countries and departments with the implementation of sustainable processes and work streams related to purchasing. Support with knowledge, trainings, IT and more;
Ensure that supplier assessments and evaluations are in line with Heimstaden's guidelines and vision, including visiting suppliers for audits and verifications. Develop the processes to ensure safer supply chains.
Develop work processes related to sustainable purchasing in case of environmental impact such as chemicals, sustainable products, and services etc.
To succeed in this role we see that you have a lot of experience in your backpack from working in a similar global role, preferably within the real estate business. You have worked both operationally as well as strategically, which has given you the possibility to view processes from different perspectives and the ability to keep a proactive mindset. You are a highly skilled communicator and networker, who loves making new and maintaining current relationships, while still being thick skinned. As for the formal side of your experience backpack, we see you having a university degree or similar, and you outperform in your business English, both in written and verbal form. You also speak one of the Scandinavian languages fluently.
