hela Sverige SSAB Europe division's Supply Chain Management & IT function plays strategically important part in developing and implementing efficient and effective supply chains to maximize the value to our customers.
We are now strengthening our team with a Strategic purchaser & subcontracting developer, to work with negotiating, creating and establishing contracts, and to develop and assure quality of new and existing providers of subcontracting processing. Location of the position is at one of our production sites, preferably Borlänge.
About the position
In this role you will be continuously developing existing suppliers in terms of cost, quality and service level as well as finding, negotiating and implementing new solutions. You will have a wide network and close cooperation with contacts both internally and externally. Internally you will collaborate with Sales, Product management, Product development, Production and other functions within Supply Chain. Travelling is a natural part of the position. The tasks require a good sense in doing business, creativity and ability to work independently.

Your qualifications
We expect you to have a Master's Degree in Engineering and experience from working within purchasing. You are an experienced negotiator and solid professional in making contracts and have a good understanding of purchasing strategies. Experience from processing of steel is an advantage. You master English and Swedish fluently in speech and writing.
We put great value to your personal qualities. We are looking for a person with good analytical skills who enjoys business situations, is responsive, have a solution-oriented attitude, a drive and great social skills.
