Your role
You will be a member of the procurement team responsible for Mechanics and Non-Metallic Components. You will act as a Strategic Purchaser with part of your role focusing on being Category Account Manger (CAM) within Non-Metallic Components area.
The role will give you opportunities to build an extensive network, both internally and externally.
Task will include:
* Acting as a CAM you will implement and develop a common strategy for the category Non-Metallic components for our different production sites.
* Preform analysis and develop/ implement new cross functional work methods to develop the category teams within your category.
* You will be procurements representative in SAABs overall procurement category management within the Non- Metallic area.
* Managing your own supplier base.
* Supporting the Business Areas projects and programs with commercial responsibility and to continuously evaluate the market competitiveness of the current supplier portfolio.
* Be responsible for negotiating, actively managing and further developing our supplier agreements.
* Establish and continuously develop strategies for your supplier base and category.
* Manage cross-functional teams focusing on effectiveness and cost savings.
* Assure that the Saab purchasing strategy, purchasing policy and procedures are fulfilled.
Your profile
To thrive in this role, you are a business oriented person with great communication skills. You are used to efficiently collaborating with team members as well as other stakeholders. You are structured and have an analytical mindset enabling you to adapt to circumstances.
Required skills:
* University degree in Engineering or Economics.
* Experience from strategic purchasing.
* Minimum five years of relevant experience.
* Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written.
* Good knowledge of MS Office.
Desired skills:
* Experience from project management.
* Experience from leading others.
* Experience with IFS.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
