hela Sverige We are looking for an experienced Strategic Purchaser to drive our strategic agenda going forward. Are you a team player, have ability to take decisions and experienced in driving effective supplier relations you might be the one we are looking for.
Your role
As a Strategic Sourcing Manager in the team, you will be part of a team driving the strategic agenda in relation to key suppliers and technologies for Saab Surveillance's products. You will have an account responsibility for strategic suppliers, meaning commercial responsibility to secure optimized business solutions for Saab. You will work very closely with business development, product management and design to align cost and technology roadmaps with our critical suppliers, building on supply market intelligence. You will also be responsible for the performance of the supplier throughout the lifecycle, supporting the supply management organization for escalated issues.
Each strategic sourcing manager is responsible for development project driven strategic sourcing activities. The main focus is to ensure a competitive supplier set up for each specific project or program to have a successful launch and a competitive life cycle solution. Your responsibilities will include to set up agreements and source materials and services as well as continuously govern and improve cooperation with our suppliers.
In this role you might also be assigned to specific projects, such as localization to set up supply chains in strategic countries to support industrial cooperation and sales, or strategic make-buy analysis projects.
Your profile
We are looking for you who have a strong business understanding and costumer focus. You have ability to think and act strategically to reach our targets and are a team player with high interpersonal and communication skills.

* Extensive strategic sourcing skills
* Ability to develop suitable contracts to support the commercial intent
* Legal and commercial interest and experience
* Experience in driving effective supplier relations
* Proven ability to take decisions without all facts on hand
* Great commitment and result driven with the ability to generate energy into our teams
* Well orientated in Management systems, Code of Conduct, IFS etc
* Excellent skills in spoken and written English and Swedish
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
What you will be a part of
You will be part of a team with senior strategic sourcing skills to add value into Saab Surveillance's business, with the purpose to establish deep involvement and engagement with all parties to drive performance. You will be working closely with the business units, development, production and external parties. Strategic Sourcing responsibilities will be within hardware at BU Surveillance. Depending on your skills and experience, the category can differ.
