We are now looking for a Strategic Purchaser who wants to grow and develop both the role, our organization and yourself!
As a person you are result driven, well-structured with excellent communication skills combined with a passion to drive and to influence change in the way the organization works to increase effectiveness. You are visionary with a strategic perspective but also a team player, good at listening and get the people committed.
About the jobAs Strategic Purchaser you are responsible to drive and develop the source processes in the Ronneby factory, in line with the priorities sustainability, quality, delivery and cost. You will contribute to exceed customers' expectations by focusing efforts to provide a high level of service e.g. lead time improvements, special order handling along with financial savings through supplier negotiation and transportation. Your key tasks will be:* Analyze the current supply chain and propose areas for improvement* Drive and participate in sourcing projects, also in a global environment* Secure the supplier performance in terms of quality, lead time, delivery on time and landed cost for our suppliers* Cooperate with colleagues on the site, R&D, Product Centre and Global Purchasing
What you knowYou have probably a technical degree, combined with commercial experience from purchasing and/or sales and marketing, and a good understanding of supply chain and manufacturing/processes. You have experience from improvement tools e g 5S, Six Sigma or Kaizen, you are skilled in English, both spoken and written.
