hela Sverige CrossControl is in a very exciting phase and we are now looking for a Strategic Purchaser. As a Strategic Purchaser, you will be working in team with Project managers and Development engineers; you will play an important role in new product development. On a global basis you will lead and develop strategies within Supply Chain, and in line with company strategy develop the supplier base.
We look for a driven employee with at least two to three years of experience and with passion and understanding for technology. At CrossControl we are moving fast, we are a fast follower on new trends and technologies, and therefore it is important that you are curious and willing to broaden and sharpen your skills in new areas.
You develop and continuously improve a solid sourcing strategy. Translate this strategy into a yearly materials saving plan in alignment with the global sourcing strategy and local business needs. Explore, initiate and develop supply chain opportunities to be able to expand the sourcing base. Involve suppliers in development and review of specifications to promote design for manufacturing. . Review processes of current and new suppliers and identify improvement opportunities on quality, cost and flow of supplied materials.
Conduct price negotiations with supply base to realize optimal short- and long-term conditions. . Evaluate and manage vendor performance to monitor and improve productivity, timely deliveries, high service levels and adherence to quality specifications and other business requirements.
Work with New Product Development (NPD) teams to ensure the integrity and clarity of engineering drawing/specification requirements and that all expectations are communicated effectively to suppliers. Interact with NPD teams to ensure suppliers are involved in development and review of specifications to promote design for manufacturability.
Assist Supply Chain/Operations to develop policy, process and documentation to continuously improve supplier performances. Understand and enforce procurement policies and procedures.
B.Sc. in Engineering or Economics and Business Administration.
Several years' experience in an international industrial manufacturing/assembly organization. You are result oriented and willing to walk an extra mile to obtain the best result for each project. You have the ability to think and act on a strategic level. Have strong problem solving and analytical skills combined with good negotiation skills and team working skills.
Excellent communication skills (writing, verbal and presentations) in Swedish and English. Capability to handle multiple projects at the same time and perform financial stability analysis of suppliers. Being part of an international company and an international group of organizations it is important to be able to operate as an independent specialist and realize at the same time how and where to address and align issues that will affect other parts of the organization.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills and highly resistant to change and stress. Flexible and willing to travel in conducting business with operations and supplier visits around 25%.
