We are now looking for a Strategic Purchaser to our Operations team. You will become part of a team with 10 colleagues and report to the Chief Operations Officer, working from our headquarter in Solna, Stockholm.
As our new Strategic Purchaser, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless component and product supply - in right time and at the right cost. You will work with negotiations with our key suppliers to ensure the best terms for Charge Amps and our customers. As strategic purchaser we expect you to identify new and key suppliers, set up commercial terms and conditions in contracts with good prices, satisfying quality standards, and delivery performance. You will also work with process developments to maintain a proper supplier base and improve cost to enable Charge Amps' business growth. As one of the first few employees in this position, you will have great opportunity to develop your role and the strategic purchasing function.
We expect you to:
• Be excited about the opportunity to develop working methods within strategic purchasing for a global company in scale-up phase.
• Obtain an overall responsibility for sourcing and negotiations with key suppliers.
• Have a collaborative positive, and flexible attitude and thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Have an analytical mindset, with the ability to continuously evaluate and develop the procurement/purchasing strategy.
• Use your previous experience to come up with new ideas and innovative ways of working, to strengthen and continuously develop Charge Amps' purchasing function.
• Focus on supply chain efficiency and cost savings.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Master's degree within supply and sourcing, or similar relevant academic background.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experiences in EMS sourcing, electronics and tech companies are merits.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English.
• Chinese (Mandarin) is a bonus as we work with many Chinese suppliers
