Then you might be who we are looking for to strengthen our growing procurement organization. We can offer you an exciting and challenging position as a Strategic Purchaser within our category team Harnesses and electromechanical components, located either in Järfälla or Gothenburg.
Your role
As a Strategic Purchaser, you will be responsible to drive our strategic agenda towards the suppliers and secure cutting-edge technology for Saab Surveillance's products. You will have the responsibility for strategic supplier management, including commercial responsibility and stakeholder management both internally and externally. You will work closely with production, product management, design and our suppliers to align requirements and find opportunities to add value for Saab in terms of quality, cost and technology.
Your tasks also include:
* To drive project related sourcing activities
* Supplier performance evaluation
* Focus on long-term cost set-up and optimization
* Review and negotiate supply agreements and contracts
* Specific projects, such as strategic make-buy decisions or localization
Category Procurement has responsibility for sourcing parts to all four Saab Surveillance' sites: Gothenburg, Huskvarna, Järfälla and Arboga. A category team consists of a Category Procurement Manager, Strategic and Operative purchasers. Your team, Harnesses and electromechanical components, consists of 15 colleagues, with diverse experience, located on all our four sites.

Since the role requires contact with our suppliers, you should be fluent in both Swedish and English.
Further we believe that you have:
* Relevant secondary education or matching work experience for the role
* Ability to understand and write supplier agreements with commercial intent
* Proven ability in driving effective supplier relations.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
