The central and global function - Property Transaction and Leases is a highly engaged group of experts within the areas of strategic property planning, property transactions and property leases. We drive larger transaction projects and real estate related transformation projects. In addition, we also have the responsibility for the global lease portfolio. We provide expertise, advice and best practices within our area of expertise to other parts of Group Real Estate. We secure the property dimension in Volvo Group M&A projects in a global context. You will report to the Vice President Property Transaction and leases in GRE.
Job description
The main mission of this job is to drive real estate related transaction projects and transformation in line with the overall strategy and objectives for Volvo Group and Group Real Estate. As a Strategic Project Manager, you lead a temporary organization, that may cross organizational boundaries, which will deliver a planned or desired result or product.
Typically, you are responsible for global projects with large impact on GRE and Volvo Group from a financial as well as an operational perspective. You are expected to drive your own tasks independently, and when needed seek information and support from colleagues.
What you will focus on:
Drive property development - and transaction projects as well as property related transformation projects within GRE as well as in other areas in Volvo Group.
Responsible to manage project activities to secure project objectives.
Use the Volvo Group Project Management Methods, templates, tools, policies, guidelines and processes.
Maintain professional relationships with the stakeholders.
Responsible to ensure that the deliverables produced are achieving the agreed quality.
Who are you?
To be successful in this position you have deep, as well as broad, real estate experience. You have a hands of experience from driving property transactions as property development projects, and you have a lot of energy and drive to secure progress in your projects.

Required knowledge/experience:
BSc or MSc in Engineering, Business Administration or other relevant university background - or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities
Successful global Project-/Program management experience on senior level
Extensive knowledge of (Corporate) Real Estate business and market knowledge in general
Proven experience in real estate business and transactions on corporate and global level
Demonstrated experience in development- and strategy work
Change Management experience on a global level
Fluent in English both spoken and written
